Yes, by 2025, sodium-ion batteries will reach 160-180 Wh/kg. Industry leader CATL is set to achieve 175 Wh/kg in mass production. This is close to LFP batteries, which range from 180-200 Wh/kg. These batteries can power small EVs for over 250 miles per charge. Key improvements include layered oxide cathodes and soft/hard carbon composite anodes, enhancing stability and efficiency.
Do Sodium-Ion Batteries solve winter range loss?
